Low resistance atomizers/cartomizers (2.4 ohm and lower) were designed for lower voltage devices to produce a simulated 5volt experience. The VL mod is adjustable from 4-5volts and recommended to use 2.5 - 5 ohm atomizers/cartomizers. Using anything lower can increase the amperage and could cause damage / stress on the internal circuitry.

Ideal vaping should be in the range of 5-10 watts. Here is a calculator to help you decide what voltage and ohm rating will work best.
